Kate Conlow (Founding Editor)  will receive her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in May 2023 and is a 2023 recipient of the Hancher-Finkbine Award. Prior to law school, she served as the Deputy Managing Editor of The Iowa Review, and during law school she was the Editor in Chief of the Iowa Law Review. After graduation, Kate will clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, first in 2023–24 for Judge Michael J. Melloy and then in 2024–25 for Judge Jane L. Kelly.

Henry Dambach (Managing Editor)  is a JD candidate from Nashville, Tennessee. He is a former English major and current evangelist for literature of all kinds, particularly poetry, essays, and short stories.

Siduri Beckman (Managing Editor) is a JD candidate and poet from Philadelphia. She was the inaugural Youth Poet Laureate of Philadelphia. Selected publications include debut collection Yearling published by Moonstone Arts Center Press (2022), Michigan State University’s Undocumented: Poet Laureates on Social Justice anthology (2019), University of Pennsylvania Kelly Writers House and VoteThatJawn’s STORM: From Whitman’s Election Day to Ours (2020), the Philadelphia Public Library Healing Verse Poetry Line (2021), and Moonstone Press’s 25th Annual Poetry Ink Anthology (2021). Editor of first youth editions of Apiary Magazine and CRED (2014).

Zkara Gaillard (Managing Editor) is an MFA candidate at the Iowa Writers' Workshop in Fiction, also pursuing a certificate in African American Studies. She was raised in Schenectady, NY, but has a deep love for South Carolina. Currently, she is working on a novel about a Black American family and the reverberations of racial trauma and mass incarceration through four generations.
